Just wanted to share the attached important paper by Elissa Brown and her colleague Komal Sharma-Patel. One important finding is that for youth with significant affective dysregulation, this only reduced after the trauma narrative. Of course, we say this in trainings all of the time; coping skills are great but the TN is often necessary for better affective regulation. Nice to have some research findings to support our clinical observations.
